Petuk Sounds little weird isn't it?Its actually a bengali word means one who loves to eat ,eat and eat.I keep on doing R&D with cooking.Sometimes it becomes hit but sometimes booooo….i guess it happens with everyone..
Yesterday I prepared a known Dal in some unknown way….its Dhanepata Musurdal...here is the recipe.
Ingredients
· Masur Dal(Red Lentil)-1/2 cup
· Tomato-1 medium sized
· Coriander leaves- one small bunch
· Green Chillis-2
· Onion-1 Big(Chopped)
· Garlic-4-5 cloves(chopped)
· Kalonji (Kalo jeera)-1/2 Tsp
· Fenugreek seeds(Methi)-1/4tsp
· Salt to taste
· Sugar
· Refined Oil-1Tbsp

Preparation-Boil the dal,tomato,corianderleaves,fenugreek,salt,sugar together with 2-3 whistle in pressure cooker.
In a pan put oil,when it becomes hot put kalonji and green chillis, fry the chopped onion and garlic ,when it becomes light brown put the boiled dal ,boil for 5 minutes.The Dhanepata Musurdal is ready.
